Heritage Lodge, LLC is a privately-owned bed and breakfast located in Southwest Iowa. It rests on a peaceful 21-acre campus one mile west of Red Oak, Iowa, population 5,742.  The lodge is a beautiful log home, constructed in 2002.  It is a grand addition to Red Oak and its large campus also houses full time residents as well as bed and breakfast guests.  The surroundings include a patio area equipped with a fire-pit and a relaxing water feature, so bring on the s’mores and hot dogs.

Our History Center offers permanent and changing historical exhibits, a historical & genealogical research library, an extensive collection of artifacts, and four meeting areas available for rental. Four preserved historic structures are open to visitors.

Our hours are 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday thru Sunday (or call to schedule a visit).
